The Queen Anne Historical Society works to engage the community and foster a sense of belonging and pride. As one of Seattle’s oldest and well known neighborhoods, the Society was created to steward an extensive archive documenting the neighborhood’s history, community leaders, and businesses across the years, making it a truly an invaluable resource. We were commissioned to design and illustrate a custom walking tour map highlighting 11 architectural landmarks of the hilltop neighborhood. This is the first of what may become a series, created to connect residents with an activity that brings the neighborhood’s history to life.
