I founded Joyko Studio in 2021 after decades working in the brand space.

My design work is driven by a passion for visual storytelling and a belief that great design should reflect the essence of the people behind the brand. I collaborate 1:1 with clients on brand creation, refreshes, and implementation. I also partner with agencies on a project or retainer basis.

As an artist, I am inspired by natural elements, mysticism, posters of the early 1900’s, and Japanese children’s books. I’d love to share my art with the world, whether it’s on a favorite notebook or journal, or as art in the home. My illustration, print & pattern services are available for commissions and licensing.

IN HONOR & MEMORY

The two most important women in my life were my mother, Joyce and grandmother, Yoneko. They encouraged my creativity and modeled strength through adversity. With their inspiration and the spirit of aloha – Joyko Studio was born.
